Missionary Notes

As a district, we gave 12 LBWM missionary families a Christmas gift of 50 dollars this year. Here are some of their responses.

Dear Friends,
We wish you all a happy New Year and thank you once again for your prayer and financial support of missions and also for remembering each of us at Christmas. Please pray that through English classes we will have many opportunities to share the Good News of Jesus. May God bless you and use you for His glory in 2008!

Dear Friends of the Pacific Northwest ,
We want to thank you for your gift to us during this Christmas season. We appreciate your taking time to think of us during such a busy time of year.

We are feeling more settled into our new home. Here in Hsinchu with each passing day. Ethan has been interviewing Hakkas in order to gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between being Hakka and their response to Christianity. In the process he’s had a few opportunities to plan some seeds which we pray will grow in the future. Caleb and Hannah have both adjusted well to their new schools. We are truly blessed. God’s blessings on your ministries there in 2008.

Dear Ladies,
The World Missions office told us of your nice gift. Thank you very much! We feel blessed to be part of the LB family. Our brothers and sisters have all made us feel loved. You are no exception. Please pray for us. We need and covet your prayers!

Say, “Hi” to all of our friends in the district for us. We greatly miss our home there, but are glad we’re here, too! May the Lord bless you and your families in 2008.

Dear CLB Pacific NW District Women’s Ministries,
Thank you for your thoughtful gift of money at Christmastime. We had a wonderful time in celebrating Christ’s birth. We were blessed to host a feast in the village, butchering two sheep and sharing stories about God’s provision for salvation. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement.
